About My Classroom
Welcome to the computer lab at Jackson Elementary School. Here students in grades K-5 come to the computer lab once every 6 days for 50 minutes. We focus on learning about digital citizenship, coding, online research, data collection and much more! K-2nd begins each class on the rug to see the lesson modeled before beginning work at our computer.
When learning to type it's important to keep our fingers on the home row and it's even more important to have a reminder of where they go.
Here is our computer lab. We are fortunate to have 30 Mac desktops so that each student is able to use their own computer. We also have a TV to mirror display lessons for everyone to see, as well as a 3D printer.
